At Showfront, there's only one thing we love more than display cabinets, and that's football. As passionate supporters of our local communities, and with our very own Kevin Johnson from the Finance Department playing centre half-back for the Altona Vikings, we're proud to sponsor the Vikings.

On Saturday, the 17th of September, the team took the field at Avalon Airport Oval for the TIV Division 1 Seniors premiership.

It was an occasion full of anticipation, and the entire Showfront team showed their support for Kevin and the Vikings by donning purple and gold for the grand final and what a spectacular game it was.

Despite the rain and a gallant effort from Werribee, the Vikings proved too good, as they secured the win over Werribee Districts 10.21. (81) to 9.4. (58).

Altona maintained a majority of possession and territory, piling on the scores and putting unrelenting pressure on Werribee throughout all four quarters, ending a near-perfect season with a 23-point triumph and having won their first premiers flag since 2012.

It's been an action-packed year, and Showfront is incredibly proud of Kevin and the boys as they kept up their momentum and hard work all year, with a stellar result to show for it.

Established over 100 years ago in 1918, Altona Football Club has a rich sporting history, and Showfront is proud to be a loyal supporter of their team, players and projects. From regular donations to participating in fundraising events, we love to get involved.
